WHO WE ARE
MAC Landscapes & Construction
Mac Landscapes and Construction is led by Beau McDermott, a Northern Rivers local with over 15 years' experience across civil, commercial, and large-scale landscape construction projects.
Beau began his career working on the Gorgon Project in Western Australia, where he gained valuable experience in large-scale structural landscaping, site safety, and project management. Returning to the Northern Rivers, he went on to lead major civil and public space projects as a Site Foreman, including works at Summerland Farm, Railway Park in Byron Bay, and the Bangalow Weir Parklands.
In 2019, Beau co-founded a landscape construction business specialising in commercial and civil works, growing to a team of 10 and delivering key projects across the region.
Established in 2023, Mac Landscapes and Construction reflects Beau refining and focusing his expertise in structural landscaping, delivering earthworks, retaining wall solutions, and complete landscape construction packages across residential, commercial, and civil sectors.

With the added advantage of an owned fleet of machinery, the team is able to deliver projects more efficiently, maintain greater control on-site, and provide cost-effective outcomes for clients.
With a practical, solutions-focused approach, Beau and the Mac Landscapes and Construction team combine hands-on experience with strong safety and project management focus, ensuring every project is delivered with quality, efficiency, and attention to detail.
